Key members of Indian Dreams Foundation

Punit Asthana

Punit Asthana heads the board as president, with excellence in communication and leadership, mentoring a diverse group of multi-ethnic professionals, and building effective working relationships across geographic and cultural borders. He is actively engaged in planning, strategy making, communication, and stakeholders’ relationship.

Lakhvinder Kaur

Lakhvinder Kaur is an educator and counsellor by profession with 15 years of experience working in the education sector. She did her Master of Arts from the Delhi University and is actively working to educate adolescent girls on reproductive rights and health issues. She is engaged in the execution of Idf’s programs primarily related to girls’ reproductive health rights.

Anjali Kumari

Anjali Kumari has completed her education from the University of Agra. She has five years of experience working as an educator at the grassroot level. Her work is dedicated to uplift vulnerable populations, especially girls and women, through education and empowerment. She has keen attention to capacity building, stakeholders’ engagement, and data management.

Meena Pipariya

Meena Pipariya is a teacher with 17 years of rich experience. She has completed her Master of Arts from Dr B.R. Ambedkar University. She works as a lead in the execution of Idf’s non-formal education program. She has the spirit to work at the grassroot for community mobilization, team building and stakeholders participation.

Alka Sharma
(India)

Alka Sharma did her Master of Arts in Sociology and a certificate program in Human Rights. She has ten years of experience working with grassroot communities focusing on girls’ menstrual health, gender equality, and gender-based violence. She oversees accurate and efficient allocation of gifts and maintains donor database

Lalita
(India)

Lalita is a social activist with more than six years of experience working with grassroot communities to address health and hygiene-related issues. She is dedicated to work for awareness on sexual reproductive health and rights for married women. She has a keen interest in supervising stakeholders’ engagement and strengthening SRHR awareness through direct intervention at the community level.

Roshni
(India)

Roshni is a health advocate for the people who are living in slums and backward communities. Before joining Indian Dreams Foundation, she worked as an advocacy and engagement partner for polio vaccination program for five years. She advocates mensuration health awareness and hygienic practices and raise awareness about reproductive health rights among married women.

Jyoti Singh (India)
(PROGRAM HEAD)

Jyoti Singh has worked for more than ten years in the development sector. She is a postgraduate in Social Work (MSW) and cleared UGC-NET. Her core expertise is in health & hygiene, education and empowerment of adolescent girls and women. She oversees program planning, implementation, stakeholder partnership, community mobilization, project management.

Mohammad Aftab (India)
(PROJECT OFFICER)

Mohammad Aftab, a graduate of Dr B.R. Ambedkar University, has more than six years of experience in social service. He is accountable for executing projects, stakeholder’s engagement, liaising with different partners and communities, project documentation and implementation.

Renuka (India)
(ADVOCACY OFFICER)

Renuka works as a counsellor and educator with an experience of working in the development sector. She works on SRHR programs with a focus on educating adolescent girls.

Dr. Shamila Ramjawan
(South Africa)
(Global Ambassador)

South African now an Associate Dean at LSI Business School in Cambodia. Shamila is the Founder of PrincessD Menstrual Cup, Red Corner Show and Olympus International Award. She is the Global Managing Director for Ladies of All Nations International (LOANI), 189 countries. South African Country Director and National President for the International Youth Society (IYS) in 145 countries and South African Chairperson for MentorX Women (India). Shamila is also a multiple global awardee, former Mrs Johannesburg 2019, actor, reality star and Play Your Part Ambassador for Brand South Africa.

Nibedita Paul
(USA)
(Global Ambassador)

Nibedita serves as the Marketing and Digital Communications Consultant. She is backed by her passion to work for women education and empowerment, mental health, and wellbeing. In her role, she has designed, developed and implemented digital strategies through IDF’s website, social media and email outreach, to raise the online visibility of the organization. She is the editor of Insight, IDF’s digital publication. She is a strategic thinker and draws attention by her authentic, engaging and powerful storytelling skills.

Neil De Sousa
(Switzerland)

Neil is a dynamic professional with 12 years of diverse experience across financial services and social sectors in Europe, Middle East and South Asia. Currently he is working with the HSBC bank. Neil is a strong believer in human potential and a very important supporting pillar in successfully driving our cause.

Isha
(USA)
(Global Ambassador)

Isha is a product manager in the technology industry striving to utilize data and artificial intelligence to build user-driven solutions. Isha holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany, and a Master of Engineering in Operations Research & Information Engineering from Cornell University. Isha’s work with IDF is motivated by her desire to ensure equal opportunity in education for all.
