IDF is currently working on the following projects:
♦ Dreams Learning Center (DLC) - Non Formal Education Center: DLC's aim is to educate first time students and school drop outs and help in overall development of the enrolled children, by encouraging them to gain confidence and develop essential life skills. At present, two Non Formal Education learning centers is established in urban slums of Agra, India.
♦ Education for Girls (HonhaarLadki): Honhar Ladki endeavours to develop girls belonging to disadvantaged communities, who have dropped out of school due to economic, or unforeseen circumstances
♦ Skills Training Program (NayiPahal): This vocational program enables development of soft skills among adolescent girls, including learning various forms of art, handicrafts etc. in addition to academic education
♦ Health and Hygiene Program (Smiley Days): This program addresses female health and hygiene issues, and promotes awareness in economically backward communities. Currently at a pilot phase, this program is targeting 4000 girls, for a six month duration, from urban slums in Agra, India.
